Synopsis: Cannes Film Festival/Best Fantastic Film (Austin 2011). If you’re a musician, go see Sound of Noise. You don’t need to read this review, or any other for that matter. Just go see it. You’re going to find one of the most entertaining looks at experimental music and found object percussion you’ll be able to find outside of a Stomp concert. Except a lot smarter and catchier. The narrative revolves around police officer Amadeus Warnebring, tone/deaf scion of a distinguished musical family, and his attempts to track down a group of six guerilla percussionists whose anarchic public performances are terrorizing the city. It is one hell of a fresh, unique and funny movie that I highly recommend to anyone who loves good Cinema. In Swedish with English subtitles.
